Attorney at law graduated with honors from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) in 2015. She also has postgraduate studies in financial law. She has completed various training courses in foreign trade at the Instituto Mexicano de Ejecutivos de Comercio Exterior (IMECE) and the Escuela de Clasificación Arancelaría (ESCLA).

She has more than 7 years of experience in customs and foreign trade matters. She has specialized her practice conducting due diligences to verify compliance with customs and foreign trade obligations, analysis of compliance with Official Mexican Standards and other non-tariff regulations, importers and exporters registries, maquila and promotion sectorial programs and other authorizations to import hydrocarbons, as well as preparing, coordinating and filing administrative appeals, nullity claims and amparo proceedings. Also, she has actively participated in meetings related to standardization matters with the Federal Institute of Telecommunications (IFT).

She is a co-author of the National Study on Electronic Commerce in Mexico published by the International Institute for Sustainable Development and CUTS International Geneva in 2020.

She was part of UNAM’s team in international commercial arbitration in the 18th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Pre-Moot held in New York City in the United States of America, and worked in the analysis and translation of the regulations and resolutions within the framework of the World Trade Organization. She also has given lectures on several customs matters at the Cámara Nacional de la Industria de Transformación (CANACINTRA).
