Attorney at law graduated from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) in 2016. She also has postgraduate studies in intellectual property. She has completed various international training courses, among others, the “Intensive Academic Course” taught by the California State University in San Marcos, California and the “General Intellectual Property Course” taught by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Also, she has completed training course in foreign trade at the “Escuela de Clasificación Arancelaría” (ESCLA) and the diploma course of “Foreign Trade and Customs Operation” at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in 2022.
Her professional practice is focused on advising national and international clients in the compliance of their obligations in customs and foreign trade matters, in the advisory of origin verifications, in the practice of internal audits to verify the level of compliance with the obligations derived from foreign trade operations, in the attention and representation of clients in audits performed by the tax and customs authorities, as well as in litigation and consulting in customs matters, before the Tax Administration Service, the National Customs Agency, the Ministry of Economy, the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks and other Federal Government agencies, in connection with customs matters.
Co-author of the National Study on Electronic Commerce in Mexico published by the International Institute for Sustainable Development and CUTS International Geneva in 2020.
